The home has a warm and inviting feel with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom and a spacious and well equipped kitchen. Furnished with Retro and vintage items, and books and knick knacks from a bygone era, we are sure you will very much enjoy your stay
Cosey up by the fireplace in our armchairs with a good book and a glass of wine, play chess and other board games or sit and enjoy your favorite movie

The 2 person bath on the decking is soul nourishing as you lay back and listen to our abundance of birds and gentle flow of the creek.

Share a bbq and sit at our redgum bar and enjoy a drink of your choice

Mittagong Talia is a 100% Off Grid Solar Powered home. All of our electrical appliances have been carefully selected to use minimal power and promote sustainability. Electrical appliances other then the ones provided are strictly prohibited. Please do not bring slow cookers, sound systems, heaters etc

You will have the entire property to yourself. Enjoy! We are not too far away should you need assistance with anything.
Once confirmation of booking we will send you all relevant info on getting to our home and some tips of things to do in the area.
There is also a welcome book at the house for you to read

We are in the middle of national park, you dont need a 4WD to access our property, the roads are graded and very easy to drive on.
You may on the odd occasion see campers across the other side of the creek, this is public land and out of our control however you still have full privacy on the property

The best reception is with telstra. we have unlimited starlink wifi for your use.

We are just a short (13 minute) drive out of Eldorado
Please be mindful of wildlife and drive carefully.
strictly no pets due to the protected nature of our property

We stock a basic pantry , which includes: Ground Coffee Beans, Black and Herbal Teas, Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil, Hot Chocolate, Rice, Pasta, Spreads, Butter. Long Life Milk and Cordials from the famous Billsons Brewery in Beechworth.
Please do not take these home, and leave for other guests.

Please pop into a shop for your supplies before you come! Guests find it hard to leave once they arrive, so we recommend you do this in Wangaratta or Beechworth

Amenities in our kitchen include a microwave, 4 burner stove, oven, a large fridge and freezer, , stove top kettle,Plunger and French Press, Wok and other pots and pans and toaster. And a 4 Burner BBQ on the Decking

As we are an off grid property, please do not bring any electric blankets, heaters or any other items that draw a lot of power. The Fireplace is warm and toasty and we have ample firewood.
