Hideaway Retreat is the best place to stay on Norfolk Island. It provides quality accommodation for your time on the island and lets you experience what the place has to offer, such as the Kingston and Arthurs Vale Historic Area with its historic cottages at the Penal Convict settlement, wonderful Norfolk Island National Park & ocean scenery.

Although secluded, we are only minutes from the shopping belt and eateries right in the heart of Burnt Pine. Many tourist attractions and activities like the Botanic Gardens, Mini-golf, a walk in the wild, etc are only minutes from the Retreat.

Recreational Fun
Thinking what more you can expect from our family accommodation in Norfolk Island? Within the grounds, we have an orchard where you will have your pick of oranges, mandarins, tangerines, avocados, guavas and bananas in season. Safe swimming beaches, World Heritage Listed Site, Museums, golf, tennis, bowling and squash clubs are all, at the most, 5 minutes by car. For your recreational pleasure, we offer you the exclusive use of our hard tennis court (and gear), plunge pool and BBQ facilities.

Our Hospitality
When you arrive on Norfolk Island, you will be greeted with a warm and friendly Hideaway welcome. Our Hideaway representative will meet you at the airport and escort you up to the accommodation property. You will then receive an orientation of Hideaway Retreat, facilities and the surrounding attractions. Your privacy is of utmost importance, so our staff will be discreet but we will always be available when you need assistance.

Comfortable Living
We have a total of nine, comfortable and spacious one and two bedroom apartments. Please see photo galleries. With each apartment you will have use of a mobile phone with a local number (at your expense to top up mobile) access to Wi-Fi internet.
